Dinant signs inter-institutional alliance to promote youth employment and training

Dinant, in collaboration with Catholic Relief Services (CRS), Red ITC (Community Technical Institute Network- ITC by its Spanish acronym) and Lutheran World Relief (LWR), signed an alliance through the Creating Employability Spaces Program, an initiative designed to offer young graduates of Community Technical Institutes safe and structured environments to carry out their work internships.
By joining this program, Dinant opens the doors of its manufacturing and agricultural production sites in Comayagua so that students graduated from Technical Institutes en Agroforestry Development, Administration, and Accounting and Finance may carry out their work internships within the company, working the four organizations together, for a common purpose: prepare them by participative methodologies centered in life skills, entrepreneurship and financial education, to successfully insert them into employment, education or their own businesses.
“Dinant´s participation in this initiative reflects the commitment of the company with social development in our communities, by contributing to the training of talented youngsters. We are proud of being part of this alliance which allows us to create a more inclusive and fairer environment for future generations, developing Honduran talent generating a positive impact in society and the country” stated Sara Gutierrez, CSR Coordinator of Dinant.
For Dinant, this program represents an example of how alliances can make a significant difference. Together, we are creating a bridge between education and employment, facilitating for our young people to not only dream with a better future, but to have the necessary tools to build it.
