Dinant supports education and community development in Honduras
Dinant, committed to education and community development in Honduras, inaugurated the new school classroom at the PROHECO Pedro Nufio educational center in the community of Tierras Coloradas, Isla Zacate Grande, Amapala, Valle, through collaboration efforts with several stakeholders.
The school classroom will benefit 23 students that currently attend the educational center, with capacity to accommodate more students in the future. The project was possible thanks to the joint effort of Dinant, the Municipal Mayor of Amapala, parents and the community of Tierras Coloradas, the opening of this classroom is added by the construction of five classrooms and the improvement of the infrastructure of six educational centers in the Isla de Zacate Grande.
“We are involved in the educational transformation in Honduras, working hand in hand with the Secretary of Education, the Municipal Mayor´s Office of Amapala and the community of Tierras Coloradas, we can have a significant impact on the life of the students of the region”, stated Gabriela Carvajal, manager of Corporate Social Responsibility at Dinant.
Dinant promotes educational opportunities in Honduras ‘communities where its operational centers are located, education is the key to unlock the potential of youth and build a prosperous future for all.
