Standards and Certification
To ensure that high quality production and products, Dinant follows Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), programs established by the Food Safety and Quality Institute (SQF) as well as industrial safety and occupational health systems.
All our products are produced under international standards of good agricultural practices. This includes the use of chemicals approved by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and GMP. All agricultural and administrative staff have been trained in HACCP Certification (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and its implementation is audited continuously by scientific certification systems. In order to obtain international certifications, such as ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, Dinant has developed an evaluation of its environmental, health and safety (EHS) management system and is currently being assisted by external consultants to conduct an action plan to achieve these certifications by 2014, the Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) and the Rainforest Alliance certification.
